2023-0104 - Belmont Clubhouse/Grandstand Demolition

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN:  The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) is solicitingproposals from qualified demolition contractors for the demolition and removal of the clubhouse/grandstand building (the “Structure”) at Belmont Park located in Elmont, NY.A contract will be awarded to the successful bidder if, and only if, NYRA receives the required approvals from the proper authorities to proceed with the demolition. If approval to proceed is granted, bidders should expect demolition to begin in January 2024 with completion of the Work on or before August 1, 2024.  Proposals will be received by the Procurement Operations Supervisor  at 110-00 Rockaway Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11417, not later than 11:59 p.m., prevailing time, on November 16,2023. Complete details and specifications relating to the proposed work are available and can be downloaded from the Empire State Purchasing Group Website: https://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/nyra
Bids will be accepted  electronically, prospective bidders have the opportunity to submit their bids via the following website: https://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/nyra (Empire State Purchasing Group). In addition vendors / contractors have the option of submitting the bids manually to the above referenced address. It is the bidder’s responsibility to submit their bids on time.
