RFB-1865 - Runway Pavement Maintenance

Summary of Specifications:
A qualified and experienced Contractor to conduct an airport runway pavement condition survey, evaluation, and rehabilitation consisting of: 1. A skid-resistance test using continuous friction measuring equipment (CFME);this will be done in spring of 2013 and spring of 2015 2. Reflectometer measurements of the retro-reflectivity of airfield markings, both the runway and taxiways; 3. Water outflow meter testing of runway water runoff to determine the rate at which water disperses from the runway ; 4. Removal of runway rubber deposits with water and/or chemicals, as needed ; and, 5. Restoration of runway and taxiway’s markings with paint and/or thermoplastic, as needed.
