Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this specification is to furnish the Onondaga County Department of Transportation with equipment, operators and laborers necessary to perform element specific bridge repairs per NYSDOT Bridge Manual and specifications. All OSHA regulations shall apply. Typical work orders may include but not be limited to: pothole repairs in concrete bridge decks, punch through repairs in concrete bridge decks, bridge joint repairs and replacement, steel beam repairs due to section loss, superstructure jacking, abutment concrete repairs, wingwall repair, bridge related drainage structures and piping repairs, installation of medium or heavy stone fill for scour protection. Removal and reinstallation of guide rail may be necessary to complete projects.
