Summary of Specifications:
The County is seeking the services of a professional pest control company for the control of spiders using Integrated Pest Management Principles (IPM) and to service existing electric grid insect light traps at the Metropolitan Syracuse WWTP (Metro) and the Wetzel Road WWTP (Wetzel). The major areas of concern at Metro are: the Biological Aerated Filter (BAF) process area, the High Rate Flocculating System (HRFS) process area and the Secondary Effluent Pump Station (SEPS) Building. The area of concern at Wetzel includes the Cloth Media Disk Filtration (CMDF) process area. In each of the areas listed above, spiders and midge fly populations become problematic during the period of May through October. (See Attachment #1) Pest control services are required to control these populations
