R24070 - Auction Services

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

that the County of Ontario will receive Proposals for Auction Services (R24070).  Such proposals must be filed with the Ontario County Purchasing Director, 20 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York 14424, on or before 4:00 PM prevailing time, October 29, 2024. 

All questions pertaining to this RFP shall be forwarded in writing to the Director of Purchasing at the address shown above. 

Ontario County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.

Scope of Services
The County is requiring the services of a licensed auctioneer with a real estate broker’s license to conduct the online auction for the sale of tax delinquent properties. The auction will be held in August 2025, and mid to late May of each year after, with the exact date of the sale set by mutual agreement of the County Treasurer and the Auctioneer. The dates may be adjusted or cancelled for any reason.
