NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the County of Ontario, will receive sealed bids for
Main Street (Fishers Settlement) over Irondequoit Creek Bridge Replacement
Project, P.I.N. 4755.03 (B19057). Such sealed bids must be filed with the Ontario
County Purchasing Director, 20 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York 14424,
PRIOR TO 3:00 PM prevailing time, October 2, 2019 at which time said bids will
be publicly opened and read.
Bid forms, Drawings, and Specifications may be obtained at the office of the
Ontario County Purchasing Director at the above mentioned address only
(Telephone: (585) 396-4442) for a refundable deposit of $50.00 for the first set
only (U.S. FUNDS). Bidders requesting additional sets of documents must
submit a separate non-refundable check for $50.00 per each additional set of documents. Checks shall be made payable to the Ontario County Treasurer. No
bidder shall receive documents prior to receipt of a deposit by Purchasing
Department. Bidders requesting arrangements other than U.S. Mail shall be
responsible for making such arrangements and all associated costs.

SCOPE OF WORK Work under this Contract consists of replacement of the Main
Street Fishers bridge in the Town of Victor, Ontario County, New York. The
work includes construction of concrete NEXT beam bridge with a composite deck
and semi-integral abutments on end bearing H-piles, and other incidental
construction necessary for completion of the project. The scope of this work
includes, but is not limited to the following: ? Installation of NEXT beams, type
E.B. bearings, and composite concrete deck ? Installation of H-Piles and
semi-integral abutments ? Demolition and removal of existing superstructure and
substructures ? Provide, maintain and remove temporary erosion control measures
? Maintain and protect traffic for the duration of the project in conformance with
NYSDOT and MUTCD requirements ? Preserving, maintaining and relocating
existing signs ? Installing new steel bridge railing with transition railing ? Cold
mill pavement rebates between existing and proposed pavements ? Laying out and
applying permanent pavement markings ? Restoration of all driveways and
property disturbed by construction ? Turf establishment ? Incidental work
necessary to completely and satisfactorily construct the project The Work includes
all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, disposal, and performing all work
in accordance with these Contract Documents, technical specifications and plans,
as ordered by Engineer.
