Sealed bids are requested for services as described herein. The storage facility must be climate controlled. This is a full service contract at the Middletown campus. For the purposes of this contract, ‘full service contract’ shall mean that the bidder's price includes all labor and materials required to provide the services outlined in this specification including but not necessarily limited to the removal and the transport of all furniture; all administrative, reporting or other requirements, and all overhead costs. It shall also include all travel costs, parking fees, and any other ancillary fees and costs including permits, licenses, insurance, etc.
The College Liaison and the mover’s appointed designate will review/inspect the condition of origin prior to the move and immediately after a move-in. These reviews will be notated and signed by both representatives. The mover will be responsible for any new damage found during the review, accomplished after the move. Complete and final acceptance will be made in writing.
Movers will NOT be required to disconnect or reconnect any automated equipment, such as computers and printers.
Interested bidders are advised to visit the locations to determine if the type of equipment necessary to properly service the College.
