Summary of Specifications:
Orange-Ulster BOCES is seeking a Vendor to conduct Physicals and Drug & Alcohol Screening of safety-sensitive CDL bus and vehicle operators and bus aids for interested participating cooperative Districts. Cooperative districts employ commercial drivers to operate school buses and district trucks, or to service these vehicles. The Districts are Commercial Motor Carriers under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act. District safety-sensitive CDL holders are therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing under the provisions of the Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991 (PL 102-143). These employees may also be subject to the more stringent requirements of District’s Policies.
