PLEASE READ THE ATTACHED SPECIFICATIONS IN THEIR ENTIRETY.The County of Rensselaer, New York, (the “County”) is requesting proposals from qualified certified public accounting firms to perform audit and other services for the fiscal years ending December 31, 2020, 2021 and 2022 (and optional extensions for 2023 and 2024). The audit is to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, the standards set forth for financial audits in the General Accounting Office’s (GAO) Government Auditing Standards (2011), the provisions of the Federal Single Audit Act of 1984, the Single Audit Act Amendments of 1996, and the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133, Audits of States, Local Governments, and Not-for-Profit Organizations (continued in Section A General Information).....
