Summary of Specifications:
The Rochester City School District (“RCSD” or “District”) is seeking services of an auditing firm specializing in curriculum management processes and operation, including an analysis of the curriculum, instructional programs, and related services. RCSD intends for this RFP to result in a fee for a service agreement/contract to provide curriculum management services as outlined in the Requirements and General Specifications.
Currently, there are four schools identified (School 5, School 17, School Without Walls, and NE College Preparatory) in the Differentiated Accountability System as both Focused or Comprehensive Corrective Action (year 1) which must undertake an External School Curriculum Audit (ESCA) within six months of identification. The ESCA targets the identified accountability measure(s) and subgroup(s) not making Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) and assesses the following: • the alignment of the school’s curriculum with the NY State Learning Standards and the implementation of that curriculum; and • the alignment of the curriculum to instruction.
