Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of the District to make a one-time purchase of an Email Archive Appliance. The Rochester City School District desires a stand-alone network appliance that combines archive and data compression technology with on-board storage for an all-inclusive email archive solution. The email archive appliance must capture a copy of all inbound, outbound, and internal email utilizing the journaling function of Microsoft Exchange 2003, index the email header and text information, and securely store the data on integrated disk storage.
