The Rochester City School District (hereinafter “RCSD” or “District”) is seeking, from Rochester community partners with a demonstrated history of effectiveness, to expand pipeline services at three of its community schools, #3, #9, and #17, as part of proposed project for the US Department of Education’s Full-Service Community School Program. The purpose of the FSCS program is to provide support for the planning, implementation, and operation of full-service community schools that improve the coordination, integration, accessibility, and effectiveness of services for children and families, particularly for children attending high-poverty schools.
The District is seeking proposals to provide comprehensive academic, social, and health services for students, students' family members, and community members that are designed to improve education outcomes for children.
If awarded, services are set to begin in September 2021 and run through August 2022. The selection may result in multiple awards of a one-year contract with an option to renew for up to four (4) additional one-year periods.
This RFP is contingent upon, and will only be enacted if, the Rochester City School District is awarded the Full Service Community Schools Program grant by the United States Department of Education.
