Summary of Specifications:
The Rochester City School District (“District”) is issuing a request for information ("RFI") to qualified entities seeking to act as an insurance consultant and "broker of record" for the District with respect to the District’s health insurance coverage. The District seeks a qualified insurance broker/consultant to assist in-house staff with the strategic plan, design, continuous monitoring and negotiation of employee/retiree medical, prescription, dental and vision plans, disability plans, life insurance, and other related benefit plans/programs. The District desires to contract with the consultant/broker that can deliver high quality and comprehensive health insurance services at the lowest possible cost to the District. The successful consultant/broker shall demonstrate that it will act zealously to minimize the costs of health insurance coverage over the term of its agreement while also offering its brokerage services to the District at the lowest possible price.
