Summary of Specifications:
The Rochester Joint Schools Construction Board (RJSCB) is seeking proposals from qualified professional firms to act as Move Management consultant for the Rochester Schools Modernization Program (RSMP). The purpose of this role is to provide a single point of contact for all move management and coordination requirements that are part of the RSMP, to ensure well planned logistical oversight of the relocation of affected schools from their existing location into temporary swing space and the relocation from the swing space back into the newly renovated permanent facilities. The Rochester Joint School Construction Board is seeking qualifications and proposals from experienced consultants for Move Management services to include, but not be limited to the relocation in and out of swing space of the following schools: „h EnricoFermiSchool 17 (K-6, Summer 2012), „h HenryHudsonSchool28 (K-6, Summer 2013), „h MontgomerySchool 50 (K-6, Summer 2012), „h World of Inquiry School 58 (K-7, Summer 2012), „h Charlotte HS (summer 2012), „h and any other non-school construction related moves as deemed necessary by the RJSCB. Move Management services are to be coordinated with the School Construction schedule. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to the scope of work defined in section 4 and the attached consultant form of agreement included as part of this request by reference. The services to be provided will include compliance with RJSCB approved budget, compliance with all due dates and deadlines, coordination with RCSD internal departments and outside consultants, as well as monitoring of all required policies and procedures for the proper and successful administration under the direction of the RJSCB. Phase 1 of the RSMP is a $325 million, 12-project program governed by the RJSCB to modernize the Rochester City Schools. The services will be implemented over a five-year period, based on the program schedule developed by the Program Manager (Gilbane/Savin). Please note that the RJSCB has retained Architectural firms for the first six (6) projects approved for design in Phase I.
