Description

Rockland County Community College intends to install a generator to back up their Field House building so that it may be used as an emergency shelter for the community. The building’s indoor track area, approximately 75,000 square feet, along with its locker room and shower area make it an ideal building for an emergency shelter. The existing generator does not have sufficient capacity to provide backup power to the campus hot water circulating pumps. Without power to the campus hot water circulating pumps the Field House cannot be heated.

The successful Respondent will assist Rockland Community College with all basic services necessary for design, bidding, and construction] administration and inspection of the Rockland Community College emergency shelter generator project in accordance with HUD and GOSR requirements and timetables.

Rockland Community College reserves the right to modify the project description.
