Summary of Specifications:
Rockland Community College (the College) requests proposals for merchant services. The organization selected will be designated as RCC’s officially authorized credit card processing organization. The College currently has 1 merchant account (Merchant ID); four point of sale terminals. Students have the ability to make payments online through the Ellucian Web Advisor application on the RCC website. Based on the most recent payment cycle, the College expects to process over $ 9 million in credit card transactions in 2015-2016. The College accepts credit cards for all student tuition and fees, and other miscellaneous services provided by the College. Refer to Appendix A for more detail on these transactions. Rockland Community College is a SUNY community college located in Suffern, New York. In addition, the College operates one campus extension center in Haverstraw, New York. The College has enrollment of approximately 5,300 full time equivalent students. Student headcount for Fall 2015 was approximately 7,228 students. Your proposal must address the items presented in the Content of Proposals section and be submitted by the date specified on the previous page. The College expects organizations responding to this Request for Proposal to document their ability to provide a full range of services including, but not restricted to, the requirements and specifications listed herein.
