Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Review and edit written material in the 2024 Hazard Mitigation Plan for grammar, punctuation, and spelling. 2. Make all narratives and data consistent throughout the report. 3. Reformat written content to be consistent throughout the online report, examples include: a. Using the same acronyms throughout. b. Consistent tone and style of written material. c. Tables match written narratives. d. Utilizing NYCEM’s style guide. 4. Develop and maintain a system of bibliography using academic best-practices. 5. Work in coordination with the Planning Team, Web Developers, and Graphic Designers. 6. Identify areas where written text can be reduced or synthesized for improved readability in both the 2024 HMP website and companion report. a. Compose the executive summary and concluding remarks for the companion document using outlines of information produced by the Hazard Mitigation planning team. b. Make substantive changes to the overall content to make it a more compelling document for a less technical audience. 7. Provide feedback on the production of the report, including the display of sections, tables, and charts. 8. Availability for final revisions and last-minute tasks.
