Provide an Automated Identity Verification solution for integration into BERS’ Comprehensive Pension Management System (CPMS). CPMS is used to manage all aspects of pension management, including payroll processing, member enrollment, posting of contributions, account administration, loan administration, retirement benefits calculation, and disbursement of refunds. CPMS also includes an online Member Self Service (MSS) portal, through which members can view their account balances and apply for certain transactions. Specifically, members can initiate the following transactions via MSS: • apply for loans. • request refunds from Tax Deferred Annuity (TDA) and Qualified Pension Plan (QPP) accounts • add or update Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) information. • add or update W4P information. • request an address change. • request a duplicate 1099. • request a service credit purchase. • add or update TDA investment election. • request a statement. The Automated Identity Verification solution will improve the efficiency of verifying member identity and enhance security to prevent non -members from accessing MSS.
