Additional Unique Requirments:
- Space must be located in a commercial office district with attractive surroundings with a prevalence of modern design and/or tasteful rehabilitation in modern use.
- Subleases are not acceptable.
- The Government requires a fully serviced lease. All services, janitorial supplies, utilities and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration.
- The offered space must meet or be capable of meeting Government requirements for Security, Fire Life Safety and Handicapped Accessibility, Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards, ABAAS.
- The building shall not be located adjacent to, in close proximity or and/or within residential areas, educational facilities, religious facilities, and/or retail centers.
- The Government shall have access to the space 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Space should allow for efficient layout and office workflow. Columns must have regular spacing of sufficient distance to support effective design.
- At this time, the Government is only considering existing buildings, and will not consider new construction options.
- A loading area with double doors or an overhead door must be available in the building in which the space is offered for the handling of pallet sized loads. A loading dock is not required.
