Each shelter location will have some unique qualities, however most all requirement share the following requirements: Each location may include removing current concrete/brick and/ or other soft surface (such as lawn), removing existing shelter, adding a new concrete pad or reconditioning the existing concrete pad, erecting and anchoring a new shelter per manufacturer’s requirements, and installing a solar light package. Additional requirement related could include, installing a bollard(s), adding concrete path(s) to shelter for ADA compliance, relocating tree (less than 3” diameter), and other special services. During preparation and painting, area must be marked clearly with “Caution – Wet Paint” tape for minimum time as indicated by epoxy manufacturer for use by light traffic. The concrete pad must have 6” depth, minimum strength of 5000 psi once cured. Pad shall be allowed to fully cure before installing new shelter. Permits if required must be obtained by the installer.
