Specifications include, but are not limited to: The consultants would work with businesses in the earliest stages of design and conceptualization of new construction, major renovation, or expansion projects to help set energy goals for the project and to help business owners and facility managers understand energy options, including energy efficiency and incorporation of renewable energy systems. The consultant’s work may include providing any or all of the following services: •site walk-throughs,•benchmarking,•design and technical conversations related to consideration of a facility’s energy use and renewableenergy systems,•preliminary calculation of potential return on investment or payback period for various elements ofbuilding energy elements or renewable energy systems,•calculation of potential greenhouse gas emissions reductions
