1. Programming: The proposer’s plan for the Program. This should include all recommended activities, a daily weekly and monthly schedule and, if relevant, the differences in programming between the summer and Saturday programs. Proposers should also describe the facilities and resources they would need from the Town in order to carry out programming. 2. Staffing: the proposer’s plan for providing management, service delivery and administrative staff for the Program. The Town expects that: i. Program Administrators possess masters-level degrees and state licensures in special education or social work ii. Teachers possess either masters-level degrees and state licensures in special education iii. Teaching assistants or aides possess at least associate- and bachelor-level degrees in education. Proposers must state how many teachers they are proposing to utilize in relation to the participant population (i.e. student/teacher ratio). In addition to administrative, teaching and clerical staff, each proposer must submit a plan for meeting participants’ medical needs. If known at the time of the proposal, proposals should include biographical information regarding all proposed Program staff (whether they be administrative, teaching, clerical or nursing staff) as well as copies of licenses or other relevant certifications.
