The New York County District Attorney's Office (DANY) is requesting proposals from qualified, NYC M/WBE certified firms (pursuant to Section 3-08 of the Procurement Policy Board Rules), with extensive experience working with criminal justice stakeholders to develop integrated criminal justice data and analytics platforms. Specifically, the selected vendor will work to build DANY a platform that integrates siloed data from DANY data systems with New York City Police Department (NYPD), New York State Office of Court Administration (OCA), The New York City Department of Corrections (DOC), the New York City Criminal Justice Agency (CJA) and the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) data. The vendor will provide a standardized set of metrics for quality assurance, performance measurement and policy coordination. The vendor will work with DANY to define key process, performance, and outcome (PPO) measures including but not limited to: pretrial outcomes, case prioritization, identification of high contact/persistent recidivists, identification of populations appropriate for programming interventions, case processing milestones (including Discovery milestones), and case outcomes including the completion of programming. The vendor will then be responsible for identifying the correct data sources for each PPO measure and the integration of these data sources to produce a data model. Finally, the vendor will provide research-ready datasets that empower the generation of dashboards, reports, and in-depth investigations for greater understanding and insight into DANY practice and its impact on the criminal justice system more broadly
