Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) To establish a financial rate and establish contractual terms and conditions upon which The Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Nassau County (Nassau BOCES) and members of the Cooperative can acquire funding for the installment purchase of computer systems, including software immediately and; 2) To have in place an on-going contractual relationship under which contracts for the funding for the acquisition of various capital equipment, to be obtained by installment purchase, subject to renewal annually from the date of acceptance to provide for future funding for various acquisitions. 3) To have in place funding for the acquisition of personal property. These acquisitions which will otherwise be obtained in accordance with New York State Municipal Law and good business practice, may include such items of personal property as: Computer Systems Commercial Kitchen Equipment Communication systems Modular buildings Motor vehicles, including school buses Aircraft Laptops iPads Chromebooks Other Tablet devices Musical Instruments and other capital equipment and personal property as defined by General Municipal Law or regulation, effectively permitting optional installment payment systems for capital equipment.
