Specifications include, but are not limited to: The proposed project provides for the installation of a new sidewalk on the north side of Hector Street between 500 feet west of the City/Town of Ithaca line and the 600 block of Hector Street. ADA compliant sidewalk ramps, including detectable warning devices and retailing walls will also be installed. Existing sidewalks in need of repairs will also be replaced. Bicycle accommodations will be provided through the installation of an on-road bike lane between the western project limit and 715 Hector Street and an 8-foot wide side path between 211 Hector Street and Floral Avenue. Bus stops will also be modified. In addition to the pedestrian and bicycle improvements, two horizontal curves along Hector Street will be modified to reduce grading impacts and improve sight distance. The project is a Unit Price contract including a Base Bid.
