Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide an Upstate on-line bookstore web site specific for Upstate students and faculty. Upstate, working with the faculty and/or designated personnel, shall make reasonable efforts to obtain early textbook/course materials adoption commitments. The contractor shall provide timely reports to faculty members concerning the status of their textbook/course materials orders. 2. The Contractor shall, in sufficient quantity, stock, display and sell all required, recommended, and suggested course materials (e.g., new textbooks, used textbooks, digital textbooks, custom published materials, and rental textbooks) including all required, recommended, or suggested course materials and supplies, including textbooks, course packs, software, and materials published or distributed electronically. All other educational supplies, tools, and materials, especially such materials as are specified for course work to be used by students in pursuing their educational goals. 3. The Contractor may offer for sale such merchandise as books, health and beauty aids, soft goods, candy, stationery, gifts, clothing, desk and room accessories, Upstate emblematic apparel, memorabilia, and other items normally sold in college bookstores. Any additional items not currently available for sale must meet the approval of the FSA’s Representative before being offered for sale. 4. Provide a mechanism to allow books to be billed to a Students' financial aid account, credit card or check. 5. Fill orders 24/7 and provide shipping in three days or less.
