Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide public information in the timely manner as well as requiring extensive staff resources to fix. This is an emergency situation for the City, thus the turnaround time for this RFP is tight. In addition, the City is not wanting to do a lengthy design process and would prefer a template-based website design that we can do some customization. Current website issues include: • Site hacked weekly and must be restored (often to an earlier date requiring reloading of content) • Limited support and slow turnaround time from GoDaddy addressing issues • Staff time (on and off hours) addressing problems • Search database does not pull up latest information first • Difficult to display info on front in a visually eye-catching manner • Mobile display clunky Staff Needs • Secure website and 24/7 support when site down • Functional website that can be updated in a clear, efficient manner • Fixed template design geared for municipalities with ability to customize with colors, logos and images • Ability for the website to delete pages not needed at a designated time to cut down in excess information
