Specifications include, but are not limited to: Tompkins County and the Ithaca-Tompkins County Transportation Council (ITCTC) have released a request for proposals (RFP) for a Regional Transportation Study. The planning study will focus on transportation alternatives for commuting to work, access to human services, medical services and other regional transportation needs in a study area including the counties of Tompkins, Cortland, Tioga, Chemung, Schuyler, Seneca and Cayuga. The selected Consultant will formulate a strategic plan of programmatic and policy solutions to address transportation infrastructure, systems and/or operational improvements and enhancements needed to accommodate projected transportation needs from all sectors in the Study Area.
