The New York State Canal Corporation is soliciting proposals for providing and installing scaffolding to be used in winter Lock pump-out activities. This is to be completed in mid-November 2024 and the contractor will return in the spring to deconstruct, currently scheduled for mid-April 2025. Scaffolding: *CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY OF SCAFFOLDING* - One (1) Stair Unit 7’ wide x 14’ long x 20’ high Systems scaffolding 3” wide stairs - One (1) Stair Unit 7’ wide x 14’ long x 38’ high; Access and egress should be provided at 2 levels. Scaffolding should include plastic enclosures to prevent snow and ice buildup. Scaffolding install location: Lock E-14, 28 Spring Street, Palatine Bridge, NY Other locations may be added in this region as needed, at the same rates provided in this proposal.
