Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town is requesting proposals from qualified firms for an armed security guard to provide Security Services at the Office of the Town Receiver of Taxes. The Town will determine the hours and dates of the assignment. Generally, the hours are 8:45am - 4:45pm Monday – Friday. It is anticipated that the guard will not work during March, June, September or the first three weeks of December however the Town reserves the right to adjust this schedule as necessary. Additional hours may be required on an as needed basis. While not required, it is preferred the firm assign one guard to provide these services instead of a rotation of guards. The proposal shall include a description of the staffing structure being proposed for this assignment. The ideal firm will have extensive experience in security services as well as extensive knowledge and experience working for local government in such matters. All proposals must be made on the basis of, and either meet or exceed, the requirements contained herein.
