2.1.1.1. Remove and properly dispose of one (1) observable layer of existing shingles on Location No.1 and two (2) observable layers of existing shingles on Location No. 2, moisture shedding underlayment, eave, valley and ridge protection, snow guards and associated metal flashings and trim. 2.1.1.2. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to furnish and install the following as specified herein. 2.1.1.2.1. Granular surfaced asphalt shingle roofing including starter shingle 2.1.1.2.2. Moisture shedding underlayment, eave, valley and ridge protection. 2.1.1.2.3. Ridge Vents 2.1.1.2.4. Associated sheet metal flashings and trim. 2.1.1.3. It is not the intent to herein describe all of the details for asphalt roofing and flashing. Contractor shall ensure that all items and details not otherwise specified, or as otherwise required to achieve a complete watertight roofing installation as required by manufacturer’s written instructions and industry standards. 2.1.1.4. Roofing shall be removed and replaced at the following locations: 2.1.1.4.1. New Rochelle Police Department’s Marina Unit Building located on Hudson Park Road, New Rochelle, NY 10805 (Approximately 994 Square Feet of Roof Area); and, 2.1.1.4.2. New Rochelle Fire Department Station No. 5 (Approximately 6,222 Square Feet of Sloped Roof Area) 2.1.1.5. Hours of Work: Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (excluding federal holidays).
