The Town of Amherst is seeking proposals from qualified firms/individuals to identify utility and telecommunications savings through an audit of those services. Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with Federal and State of New York requirements. It is the desire of The Town of Amherst to retain the services of a qualified firm to conduct a full utility audit of the Town and its properties.
The successful proposal shall aid the Town of Amherst in identifying operational savings through a review of existing utility services.
The Town participates with Erie County in cooperatively purchasing gas and electric. Bills for gas and electric commodities and gas distribution are paid to Erie County. Distribution for National Grid is paid directly to National Grid.
