Refuse contractor is to provide containers at each location for non-recycled refuse with the minimum capacity as indicated above. All containers are to have tops. Contractor is to provide fifteen 30 gallon roll-a-ways (nine at Tamarac Elementary and six at Middle/High School) to store glass, tin, plastic or newspaper and two 8 cubic yard watertight top-load dumpster to store single stream recycling items ( one at the Elementary and one at the HS/MS), all of which contractor will recycle. STANDARD BID -PICKUP SCHEDULE: Each refuse container for non-recycled materials shall be collected and dumped two times weekly (Monday and Thursday) between 9:00AM-2:00PM or before 7:00am from September 1 through June 30, with the exception of the Bus Garage, where collection shall occur once a week, before 6:30am. During the period of July 1 to August 30, one pick-up per week will be sufficient. Dumpsters for single stream recycling items will be emptied once weekly all year (July through June).
