The scope of work includes the installation of the following estimated quantities of Sensus meters at various locations within the District: • Approximately 15 - 1½-inch meters. • Approximately 70 - 2-inch meters. • Approximately 1 - 3-inch meters. • Approximately 10 - 4-inch meters. • Approximately 5 - 6-inch meters. • Approximately 5 - 8-inch meters. Installations will take place in a variety of locations, including but not limited to: school districts, libraries, fire departments, professional office buildings, nurseries, boiler rooms, basements, meter pits, and vaults. Certain locations may require confined space entry. The contractor shall be responsible for furnishing and installing all appurtenances necessary to complete the installations. This includes, but is not limited to: fittings, flanges, gaskets, bolts, nuts, washers, and any additional materials required to ensure a complete, secure, and professional installation. The District will supply the meters only; all other hardware, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work shall be provided by the contractor. The contractor shall also be solely responsible for any damage caused during the installation process, including damage to existing infrastructure, plumbing, or property. In addition, any damage to a meter during or after installation, up until final acceptance by the District, shall be the responsibility of the contractor, who shall repair or replace the meter at no additional cost to the District.
