The work includes but is not limited to the modernization of Elevator Cars 6, 7, 10, elevator machine room upgrades (i.e. power, lighting, installation and modification of security access door controls, modifications to the fire alarm system to include monitoring of elevators and automatic transfer switches), modifications to existing 12th floor HVAC unit, removal and installation of Penthouse Elevator Machine Room HVAC units, replacement of elevator feeders, installation of sump pumps, distribution boards, panelboards, and replacement of elevator pit lighting, platforms and ladders where indicated on plans. The scope also includes the construction of 2-hour rated electrical room, modifications to existing 2-hour rated linen chute to house new electrical feeders and additional 2-hour rated construction throughout where indicated on plan. All work shall be as shown and called for in the contract documents.
