The South Orangetown Central School District is seeking a vendor to provide labor and parts to repair commercial kitchen equipment as needed. Commercial equipment includes, but is not limited to: stoves, ovens, convection ovens, steamers, kettles, microwaves, hot holding equipment, mixers, coffee makers, and any related kitchen hot equipment. All labor and materials for services shall be performed on a time and materials basis. Vendor is to provide an hourly rate for repairs. Contractor must provide documentation (receipt copies for materials purchased and supplies) of cost for each invoice. All labor rates shall be guaranteed until 6/30/2023. All parts and materials shall be guaranteed for a minimum of ninety days or in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty. All work must be performed in accordance with the National Electric Code, current edition and all local codes. The contract shall conform to all applicable requirements of Article #9 of the Labor Laws, Section 231 of the Executive Laws of the State of New York. The District will file a “Notice of Contract Award” (PW-16) with the NYS Department of Labor upon award. The contractor agrees that all wages paid for performance of this work shall be at the prevailing wage rates established by State and Federal regulations. As amended by chapter 565 of the Laws of 1997, the New York State Labor Laws now require that every contractor submit to the department of jurisdiction within thirty (30) days after issuance of its first payroll, and every thirty (30) days thereafter, a transcript of the original payroll record. In addition, each month a copy should be submitted with the monthly invoice to the district.
