NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That sealed proposals for the Construction of a 20"X10" Diameter Well (No. 2A) approximately 560 feet deep, to be located at the Broadway Avenue Well Field, Huntington Station, Town of Huntington, NY, will be received by the Purchasing Director of the Suffolk County Water Authority at 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY 11739, not later than 11:00 a.m., prevailing time on September 22, 2020, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. In addition, Bids will be accepted electronically, prospective bidders have the opportunity to submit their bids via the following website: www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york.
Complete details and specifications relating to the proposed work are on file and publicly exhibited at the Purchasing Department of the Authority, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, New York 11739, where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application. You may also register your company on our website at www.scwa.com and/or www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york. Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents are available for you to download from those sites. Questions and answers will also be posted on the public websites noted above.
An optional pre-bid meeting and walk through will take place at the site on September 15, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. The site is located at 309 Broadway Avenue in Huntington Station, New York. It is strongly recommended that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting.
