III. SCOPE OF WORK:
The County of Westchester, acting by and through the Westchester Community College (hereinafter collectively the “College”) is seeking a Primary Photographer and a Secondary Photographer to work under contract for a period of four years on photo shoots for the college. These photo shoots include, but are not limited, to classroom photography, press conferences, large events such as Commencement, and scholarship programs. These photo shoots will include interior and exterior photography and could be on our main campus in Valhalla or any of our other locations around Westchester County. We will require digital photos in a variety of different lights so proper lighting equipment is required. Photo shoots may or may not be led by the creative director from the College. In some cases, the photographer will be asked to conceive and set up the shots. Photographer(s) will be expected to execute the show with help from a college provided assistant. Digital photos must be suitable for commercial printing purposes at a minimum size of 8” x 10”, 300 dpi in a Hi-Res JPG format only. All photos submitted must be of acceptable image quality--simple color balancing and exposure adjustments should be made so that the images are visually pleasing and usable. Upon receipt of the images, we may select 5-15 images for further color adjustments or Photoshop retouching to be billed at an additional rate. There will be no expense, transportation, mileage, lodging, and/or usage fees paid in addition to the rates submitted. Image rights will be retained by SUNY Westchester Community College and the photographer waives all rights to future use except for personal portfolio purposes. Turnaround from photo shoot to delivery of images should be no longer than 6 working days and delivered via FTP or cloud storage transfer.
