Summary of Specifications:
Tompkins County is seeking proposals for consultant services for the preparation of an assessment that provides: 1. A comprehensive demographic profile and inventory of existing and planned housing options throughout the county; 2. Idenditification of current and five-year projected affordable housing demand and unmet needs by level of income, type and size of housing units, and a limited analysis of needs of seniors, college students, physically and mentally disabled, and homeless population segments; 3. Analysis of opportunities and constraints to affordable housing production; and 4. Proposed recommendations for meeting affordable housing needs.
