ITB-LK-2015008 - Adulticides and Pesticides

Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent and purpose of these specifications to provide the Town of Amherst with insecticides for use in the Town's mosquito abatement program. Bid figure shall include all delivery, freight and/or other charges and represent the net figure delivered to the Town of Amherst. At their option, other Town departments may purchase under this bid. Bidder must guarantee delivery within ten calendar days from date of order. Bidder must supply, upon request, a sample of bid material for use by the Town of Amherst to determine its acceptability. The Town of Amherst will be the sole judge as to the acceptability of any material tested. Contract will be awarded on the basis of lowest qualified bidder meeting specifications for each item. Qualified bidder is to be interpreted to mean a national or regional company engaged in the manufacture and sale of chemical products for industrial and municipal use. All bids must be accompanied by a pesticide label for each material bid upon. Labels must be registered with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. A copy of the pesticide registration as issued by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation must be submitted with bid to show the current valid registration of product and/or products bid with this submittal. M.S.D.S. must be supplied with each delivery.
