The Town of Amherst seeks to perform condition assessment inspections of its trunk and interceptor wastewater collection system pipelines (20” and larger) using Multi-Sensor Inspection (MSI) technologies. In addition to visual defects that are identified during the inspection, the Town wishes to gather quantitative multi-sensor data to understand levels of corrosion, deformation, and sedimentation within these critical large diameter pipelines. The Town of Amherst would deem CCTV-only inspections as an unacceptable alternative for these critical pipelines.
