Summary of Specifications:
The Town of Colonie is requesting proposals from qualified forestry companies to assist the Town in the forestry management for various Town owned properties. The awarded forestry company shall assist the Town in its review of various properties to determine the best long term plan for the forestry component of that property. Any property the Town decides to harvest will be done using proper and responsible methods. The Town is NOT interested in any clear cut harvests.The awarded forestry company shall also assist the town with the management of any harvest activity recommended to the Town. The Town is looking for forestry services on the Stony Creek Reservior at this time.
