Description

The Town is seeking proposals from Architect/Engineering Consultants to review and provide preliminary design options, construction sequencing, and cost estimates to improve/renovate the building envelope/fenestration and interior lighting/circuitry to maximize energy efficiencies within the Town Hall historic structure. Portions of the Town Hall structure were constructed between 1908 and 1935. The preferred consultant shall have experience reviewing and renovating historical structures. Upon review of findings, Consultant will identify potential construction funding sources, prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications, and obtain permitting for the renovation of this historic structure.

An optional pre-proposal conference will be held at the Town of Ithaca Town Hall, 215 N. Tioga St., Ithaca NY at 11:00 am, local time, on November 15th, 2022. A Town representative will be present to discuss the RFP. Consultants are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference. Town representative will transmit to all prospective consultants of record, such Addenda, as considered necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective.
