Town Hall Improvement Project
The Town of Washington Town Board (Town of Washington, NY), hereinafter called the Owner, is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to complete the Town Hall Improvements at Town Hall, 10 Reservoir Dr., Millbrook, NY, 12545.
Receipt of Bids: Separate sealed bids will be received by Mary Alex, Town Clerk, 10 Reservoir Drive, P O Box 667, Millbrook, NY 12545 until 2:00 PM (local time) on September 12,2017 . All bids must be made upon and in accordance with the Bid Form prepared by the Town, and shall be submitted in sealed envelopes so marked “Town Hall Improvement Plans”.
It is strongly recommended that Bidders attend a Pre-Bid Site Visit with the Architect, on Monday, August 28, 2017, at 10:30 AM.

Opening of Bids: Bids shall be opened and read aloud at the Office of the Town Clerk, 10 Reservoir Dr., Millbrook, NY 12545 at 2:00 PM on September 12, 2017.
Bids will be considered by the Owner. If award is to proceed to the Successful Bidder, it will be on or around, September 14, 2017. The actual date of award will mark the beginning of the Contract Time. The submittal process is to proceed within 7 days of award in order toward ordering long lead materials as quickly as possible. Substantial completion of the work is required by October 31, 2017.
OWNER’S RIGHT RESERVED: The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any Bid in the interest of the Owner.
STATEMENT OF NON-COLLUSION: Bidders are required to execute the non-collusive bidding certificate presented within the Bid Requirements, pursuant to Section 103d of the General Municipal law of the State of New York.
Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the mandatory compliance with the provision of the NYS Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Law and the Federal Wage Law. This is a Community Development Block Grant Project.
The owner hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in regard to any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for any award.
