REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR EXISTING AND NEW CAMERA SYSTEM REPLACEMENTS FOR DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION AND TECHNOLOGY SERVICES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Village of Port Chester, New York in the Village Clerk's Office, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York 10573, for Existing and New Camera System Replacements for the Department of Information and Technology Services. Bids must be submitted by July 30, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. local time, after which date and time no bids will be accepted.
The bid specifications will be available on Monday, July 20, 2020 at the Village Clerk's Office, 222 Grace Church Street, First Floor, Port Chester, New York. The office is open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday (except legal holidays). It will also be available via download from the Village of Port Chester website at http://www.portchesterny.com/bids.
All bids must be submitted by hard copy and on a USB flash drive in a sealed envelope clearly marked:
(Sealed Bid) Bid. No. 2020-07 Existing and New Camera System Replacements for the Department of Information and Technology Services
E-mailed or faxed bids will not be accepted.
Bidders are required to attend a pre-bid walk-through on July 23, 2020 at 12:00 noon. Meet at the Department of Information and Technology at Village Hall, Room 133.
Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or other security of five (5) percent of the amount of the bid to secure same.
No bidder may withdraw a bid within forty-five (45) days after the closing date/time for receipt of the bids.
If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this bid solicitation, or if additional data or information is necessary to clarify any of its provisions, a written addendum will be issued no less than two days before the bid opening.
The Village reserves the right to award any and all bids subject to sufficient appropriation in the 2020-2021 Capital Budget.
The Village further reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any procedural irregularity in the bids received, and make multiple awards if in the best interest of the Village.
