Summary of Specifications:
The Village of Port Chester desires to retain a physician to act as Fire and Police Surgeon.

Proposers must be Board-certified, specialize in internal medicine and have a strong background in occupational injuries and illnesses.

Proposers must be familiar with the New York State General Municipal Law, Section 207-a and 207-c and the applicable provisions of the New York State Retirement and Security Law with regard to retirement of firefighters and police officers.

Proposers must also be qualified to testify before the New York State Workers Compensation Board and New York State Retirement Systems.
