NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Village Clerk of the Village of Tarrytown until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022, One Depot Plaza, Tarrytown, New York, 10591, at which time and place said sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the:
Downtown Streetscape Improvements Village of Tarrytown - Contract 2022-03
The scope of work includes the replacement of concrete sidewalks and cast-in-place concrete curbs, the installation and renovation of pedestrian and vehicular drop curbs, and replacement of concrete catch basin.
Specifications will be available on Wednesday May 25, 2022 in the Office of the Village Engineer for a non-refundable fee of $25.00, New York Contract Reporter www.nyscr.ny.gov and will also be posted on the Village of Tarrytown’s website https://www.tarrytownny.gov.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany the bid proposal. In lieu of a bid bond, a certified check or bank check in the amount of 5% of the bid, accompanied by a Consent of Surety, must accompany the bid proposal.
Sealed proposals for the following construction work will be received by the Village Board, Village
of Tarrytown, at the office of the Village Clerk, One Depot Plaza, Tarrytown, NY 10591, until 11
a.m. prevailing time on Friday, June 10, 2022, and immediately thereafter the bids will be publicly
opened and read aloud in the said office. No proposals will be accepted after said time and date.
Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder, addressed to the Village Board, Village of Tarrytown, New York and endorsed "DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS, Village of Tarrytown, New York."
The Village of Tarrytown reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality in
any Bid, and to award the Contract to other than the lowest Bidder if deemed in the best interest of
the Village to do so.
Federal funds are utilized on this project and are subject to all the applicable requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
