Description

INTENT

The intent of this request for bids is to procure a Contractor for the application of reflectorized pavement markings for various types of facilities within Warren County.

SCOPE

Under this work, the Contractor shall furnish and apply painted reflectorized pavement marking paint at the locations and in accordance with the patterns indicated and directed by the County, and in accordance with the Standard Specifications (current edition) of the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), Federal MUTCD, NYS MUTCD Supplement and these specifications.

Due to COVID-19 and restricted access to County facilities, bids may be submitted by curbside drop off or via USPS, FedEx or UPS to the undersigned at Warren County Human Services Building, Warren County Purchasing Department, 3rd Floor, 1340 State Route 9, Lake George, New York 12845. If dropping off via curbside delivery, vendors must make an appointment with the Purchasing Department and will be met at the front of the building upon their scheduled time. Bids will be received up until Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at which time they will be opened and read live on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCs6noUACIHSxGD1Mvk2WRDQ.

Please note, County mail is picked up from the Lake George Post Office each weekday morning. Bids delivered to said post office on the afternoon of bid opening day will not be received until the following day and will be considered late. Please account for this if using the USPS. FedEx and UPS deliver directly to the Municipal Center.
