RFB-WC 19-11 - Directional Drilling Under the WC Railroad for Electrical Conduit

Summary of Specifications:
The work to be performed under this contract includes installing High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) electrical conduit under the Warren County Railroad by way of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD). The site is located at the 1,000 Acres Ranch in the Town of Stony Creek, Warren County, New York. 

The work includes installing approximately 50 linear feet of 2" outer diameter HDPE electrical conduit under the Warren County Railroad tracks at a minimum elevation of 6 feet below the base of rail. The soil at the site is anticipated to consist of a sandy loam. However, detailed soil boring data has not been collected. 

The County is requesting bids for two scenarios. Under Case 1, the Contractor will furnish and install the HDPE electrical conduit. Under Case 2, the Contractor will install the HDPE electrical conduit and the County will furnish the electrical conduit.
