Description

INTENT:
It is the intent by these specifications of Warren County, through its Purchasing Department, to secure a bid for SIX (6) months for Dry, Canned and Frozen Goods for Warren County Facilities and a few Hamilton County Facilities.

SCOPE:
This contract shall cover Food Products for both Warren County and Hamilton County sites. These include: Countryside Adult Home, 353 Schroon River Road, Warrensburg, NY 12885; Warren County Sheriff’s Office, 1400 State Route 9, Lake George, NY 12845; Up Yonda Farm, 5239 Lake Shore Drive, Rt 9N, Bolton Landing, NY 12814 and SEVEN Office for the Aging Meal Sites. Please see the attached sheet for locations of the Office for the Aging Meal sites. Any other designated County facility that may be added during the term of this bid will be added to the vendor serving the closest nearby site.

Due to COVID-19 and restricted access to County facilities, bids may be submitted by curbside drop off or via USPS, FedEx or UPS to the undersigned at Warren County Human Services Building, Warren County Purchasing Department, 3rd Floor, 1340 State Route 9, Lake George, New York 12845. If dropping off via curbside delivery, vendors must make an appointment with the Purchasing Department and will be met at the front of the building upon their scheduled time. Bids will be received up until Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at which time they will be opened. Please note, County mail is picked up from the Lake George Post Office each weekday morning. Bids delivered to said post office on the afternoon of bid opening day will not be received until the following day. Please account for this if using the USPS. FedEx and UPS deliver directly to the Municipal Center.
